If you already have a Blursoft Metaforum, here is the procedure to migrate it to Metafora. This procedure is only applicable the latest release of Blursoft Metaforum. It you don't have the lastest release, we can't confirm the procedure bellow will work.

1 - In phpmyadmin make a backup of your database by copying it. IF YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW TO THAT, DO NOT GO FURTHER AND ASK FOR HELP.

2 - Unpack the lastest release of Metafora in a new folder. DO NOT PROCEED WITH THE INSTALL WIZARD.

3 - Copy the [forum_to migrate]/engine/core/settings.php file to [metafora_folder]/engine/core folder of your new Metafora folder.

4 - In phpmyadmin import [metafora_folder]/install/convert.sql.

5 - In phpmyadmin import [metafora_folder]/install/metafora.sql.

6 - In your browser, launch [metafora_folder]/install/migrate.php

7 - If it still exists, delete the folder [metafora_folder]/install

That's all. You forum should now work with the latest Metafora version.
